November 9th, 2020 is the 29th ‘119 Fire Awareness Day’. According to the unified
arrangement, Anqing Foreign Language School actively carried out the fire safety publicity and education activities with the theme of ‘Focus on Fire Protection and Life-Paramountcy’ to further enhance the  fire safety publicity and education level and strengthen the awareness of fire safety and self-rescue ability of teachers, students and parents. In addition, the School Youth League Committee edited the fire slogan and played it on the school electronic screen. Also, by means of the flag raising ceremony on Monday, Anqing Foreign Language School proceeded the activity of speech under the national flag entitled ‘Always Keep in Mind Fire Safety’; On the other hand, Anqing Foreign Language School organized all teachers and students to conduct fire control and earthquake emergency evacuation drills, and invited policemen from Laofeng Police Station of Anqing Public Security Bureau to guide emergency drills and publicize fire control safety knowledge; Moreover, each class held a class meeting with the theme of ‘Fire Safety’ through class meetings and League classes.
On the whole, through this ‘Fire Safety Publicity Week’ series of publicity activities, it is hoped that teachers and students in Anqing Foreign Language School can pay attention to fire safety, reduce the probability of fire accidents, and create a good environment for the construction of a safe campus and a harmonious society.
